Need Some Inspiration?
As trainers we hear excuses all the time, “I’m too old, I’m too out of shape, My back hurts…”, but I’m here to tell you NONE of these are reasons why you can’t exercise and at S-Cape, we have living proof. Just read below:
“I am a grandmother of seven and a mother of six and I am in my late sixties. For the last year I have been attending S-Cape Fitness for classes. These classes have helped me so much; the inches the weight and the body fat have been consistently coming off. I have lost over 30 pounds off the scale and over 34 pounds of FAT! Also, my energy level has improved greatly. I look forward to each class because I am pushed to the best of my abilities. My instructor Julie takes the time to explain the importance of proper technique and what body part the lift is targeting. Sandie wrote this testimonial for us nearly 4years ago and guess what – she is still working out with us to this day! With 70 just around the corner she says she has no intention of stopping. Sandie can out lift, out pushup, and out train most people in their 20’s. I’m sure you are thinking that she came to us in tip top shape, working out all her life. Actually that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When she first started, she was walking through part of our warm-ups. How did she stick with it? Because our program is adaptable to ALL people of ALL sizes, ages, & fitness levels.
We are so impressed and blessed to have this woman as a part of our program; she is a true inspiration to all. We put this blog together to show that you can always find an excuse NOT to exercise, but what would happen if just one day you stopped making excuses? Maybe you would end up like Sandie, soon to turn 70 and in the best shape of her life.
